Since our founding in 1936 under the British Mandate for Palestine, the Palestine Symphony Orchestra has been dedicated to bringing music to life through our performances and education programs. We have grown into a world-class orchestra with a reputation for excellence. In 1948 it became the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. Today we continue to carry the spirit of the original performers.
